Dr Carolyn Barshall is one of London’s leading private GPs, with more than thirty years’ experience practising medicine in central London. Based at Chelsea General Practice beside Sloane Square, she is renowned for offering expert medical care and personalised treatment plans. She provides private family medicine for adults, adolescents and children, with particular expertise in women’s health, menopause and HRT, adolescent wellbeing, mental health and preventive health screening.
A Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, Dr Barshall has additional postgraduate qualifications in gynaecology and anaesthetics. She is an active member of The Sloane Society and The Chelsea Clinical Society.

Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. New patients can register by booking an initial 45-minute consultation with Dr Barshall.
The first appointment allows time for a detailed medical history, review of current medication and discussion of present and longer-term healthcare needs.

Yes. Dr Barshall is a family GP and sees adults, children and adolescents.
